Dr. Antonio M. Muñoz Ortega holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Seville and completed his residency at the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in the same city.
Throughout his extensive career in the field of surgery, he has achieved a high level of training, earning numerous prestigious qualifications, including the International Board in Body Contouring Surgery, a Master's degree in Senology, a Master's degree in Aesthetic Surgery, a Diploma of Advanced Studies, a Diploma of Specialization in Reconstructive and Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, and a Master's degree in Aesthetic Medicine, among others.
Dr. Muñoz has practiced in prestigious hospitals in both Spain and the USA and has performed over 5,000 complex body contouring surgeries.
His extensive technical skills and academic training, combined with his surgical expertise, aesthetic sense, and dedication to surgery, have made him one of the world's leading surgeons in breast surgery, abdominoplasty, and body contouring, achieving radical transformations that have changed the lives of thousands of people who have been under his care.

Dr. Muñoz Ortega is the founder and director of CBC Surgery Institute, a medical center dedicated to body contouring surgery, aesthetic medicine, and nutrition, located on the Costa del Sol, where he currently practices. The institute has locations in Torremolinos (Málaga) and Algeciras (Cádiz). He is also the founder and director of CBC Surgery Academy, a center for advanced practical training for surgeons from around the world.
In the field of education, Dr. Muñoz Ortega is a Full Professor in the practical/surgical area of the Master's Program in Aesthetic Surgery at TECH University, where he teaches practical classes in the operating room to doctors completing the program. He is also a professor at CBC Surgery Academy, where he conducts private masterclasses for experienced body contouring surgeons to enhance their skills and surgical techniques.

He completed his residency in General and Digestive Surgery at Virgen del Rocío Hospital.
During his residency, he specialized in Reconstructive and Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, obesity treatment, and Abdominal Wall Surgery, and is currently one of the most recognized and expert surgeons in Spain in these areas.
Over five years, he completed three master's degrees and two postgraduate university diplomas:
- Diploma of Advanced Studies
- Diploma of Specialization in Reconstructive and Oncoplastic Breast Surgery
- Master's in Senology, Master's in Aesthetic Surgery, and Master's in Aesthetic Medicine.
Until the founding of CBC Surgery Institute, he was Head of Breast Surgery at Quirón Hospital in Málaga. In 2016, he obtained the title of Board-Accredited Expert Surgeon in Body Contouring Surgery after passing the required tests and examination.
His surgical training took place at the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital in Seville, and at prestigious national and international centers, including Mount Sinai Hospital (New York), the Hospital Clinic and Quirón in Barcelona, and the Abente y Lago Hospital in A Coruña (between 2008 and 2014).
Dr. Muñoz Ortega is also the President and a surgeon at ANVER, a non-profit charitable foundation dedicated to helping women with breast cancer.
